Adding and inviting Clients to connect with your business

Step-by-step instructions
- From the main menu on the left, navigate to -> Clients

- When you initially sign up for CoachFirst, you as the business owner are automatically added as a Client; this allows you to login to the Client Portal and CoachFirst app to see the experience for your Clients
- To add a new Client, click on the "+Add Client" button

- Add the name, e-mail, etc. information at the top of the page
- The member that is added here is the Primary Member (learn more about Primary Members and Family Members)
- To send an email to the Client that invites them to complete the registration with you, select the "Send invite to client by email" checkbox
- If you have multiple Locations, set the default Location or "home base" for the Client
- Click on the Add Client button to save the Client
- Congrats, you have created the Client and can now view and update their information, and book them for your services!

Adding Family Members
- To add a Family Member or create a new Client? That is the question...
- There are times when you may want to set up a family member as a separate client, instead of as a Family Members under the same Client profile
- Family Members are not able to log in to CoachFirst, book services, or receive service reminders
- Please see our guide to Primary Members and Family Members for more information to help you decide how to use Family Members for your business and Clients
- Adding a Family Member when adding a Client for the first time
- Click on the "Add Family Members" button
- Enter the information for the Family Member
- Click on the "Add Family Members" button to add another Family Member
- Once you are done adding Family Members, click the "Add Client" button to add the Primary Member and Family Members

- Adding a Family Member after you have created the Client
- On the Client Details page, scroll down to the Family Members section
- Click on "Edit" button
- Add Family Members information
- Click "Save"

Inviting a Client to create their CoachFirst account
- Once you have created a Client, you can invite them to create their CoachFirst account
The benefits of inviting Client to register
- Once they have completed their registration and created a password, they can:
- Login to the Client Portal and CoachFirst app
- Book services
- Make card payments
- Check their scheduled services and add them to their calendar
How to invite a Client
- When you first create a Client, you can send an invitation email to them to complete their registration by selecting the "Send invite to client by email" checkbox
- If you want to invite (or re-invite) a Client after you have added them from the Clients page select the "Actions" button for them and select "Invite Client by Email" from the menu
